Hey There ,

Times have changed and the beloved Video_TS-format is somehow not up2date (at least for me) and I want to convert all my DVD's of Queen-Concerts/Docus to single Files like mp4 or mkv, that I can watch them on a Smart-TV from a NAS (f.ex. Qnap 231).

Does anybody has some experience or knows a good software, where there isn't any quality loss, where you can convert Videos_TS-Folders with the "Song-chapters" to a single File with beeing playable from a f.ex. a qnap-NAS in combination with a Samsung TV?

Thanks for any advice.

OK in the case you don't want to reencode anything, ... I recommend

1) Download PgcDemux. Open the correct IFO file, and demux all to elementary streams

2) Write tags xml file and chapters xml file

3) Mux all of the streams and xml files to mkv using mkvtoolnix
