Sorry about that I misunderstood you.I am not much of a plumber so assume you must live in apartments not a personal property.I thought It was all their responsibility when you rented someone else's property.

Sorry to hear about that, Thor. After my hospital visit, I definitely understand an emergency popping up at the last second. We can always reschedule, no problem

Oh geez, Thor. Flooding and (possible) water damage is maddening. For your sake I hope it's the horizontal pipes that created the problem and that everything will get fixed and any water damage in your unit will be fully covered.

Thor -

I wonder if Jim Beach, Brian May, and Jacky Gunn Smith have connections to Hell, and are calling in favor$$$ to punish those who blaspheme against the official gospel narrative according to Jim Beach???

LOL

Hopefully, with the parking garage being below (not living quarters), the life disruption will be somewhat manageable and only easily replaceable items got damaged ... hopefully only drywall and flooring needs replacement.

Good Luck ... and Keep Passing the Open Windows ...

Thor,
I echo all the other sentiments and wish good luck with the home repairs.

Villers2, I'm glad you are on the mend.

I hope everyone had a joyful holiday weekend, whichever holiday you observe.

Thor, so sorry to hear about your water emergency. Just the call you wanted to get in the middle of the night, right? I hope it ends up that it isn't your responsibility. No problem with the need to reschedule. We'll still be here and ready to watch when you all can get together.

Saint, I dont really know what half the things you say mean but I dont give anyone that kind of power on this earth not man or woman. It was a plumbing issue that can be resolved.I certainly dont give Jim beach that power either .He is a man and puts his pants on the same way any other man would.

This is just my way of laughing and coping with adversity or a comedy of errors.

It is just entropy creating chaos as it always does. Not any higher (or lower) beings pulling strings.

As this is the 3rd incident (puncture, stone and clog) of "bad things come in threes", perhaps Murphy's law has finally finished running its course.

Thank you all for your good thoughts and wishes. Until it gets fixed, I have to check my bathroom every 2-3 hours and bail any water out from the sinks and into the toilet.
Thank God the toilet is still flushing.
Just the way I wanted to spend Easter...flushing the toilet...oh well, things happen!

Thor- sorry about the water problem- never fun to get those calls in the middle of the night- thankfully it wasn't personal and those things can be repaired- I panic when the calls come in the middle of the night- usually nothing good.

Hope everyone had a great Easter celebration

I, too was a tomboy- nothing wrong with that!!

Oh Thor - first the tire on that horrid stretch of road and now this! Why oh why do plumbing problems always have to happen on holidays??? Happy for you for flushing capabilities at least.

Blenkolove - love your thought of Freddie sending signs via plumbing saying the time is not right - whether internal plumbing or actual pipes.

Count me as another tomboy growing up! Big time

Thor and Villiers - Keep us posted on the plumbing? Sending love and good vibes

I remember spending a whole Sunday repeatedly flushing the toilet ...

I should do the Sunday flushing thing again soon, but finding another roto-rooter doctor (the last one retired) is not at the top of my list ...

Bailing and flushing every 2-3 hours sounds like a fun night ahead- will you set an alarm? sorry Thor, but the image in my mind makes me chuckle a bit- really not trying to make light of the problem- sometimes if don't laugh at the situation you might cry- hope your water is included in the rent!!

Hi Emdee,
I live in what they call a condominium. I own the inside, but not the outside and pay a monthly home owner's association fee. That is why I am hoping the clog is on the outside. I like to put all those monthly dues to work for a change. LOL
