This is another of my favorite videos. It has everything! It shows Freddie's absolute disgust with lip syncing while he also looks terrific.

Freddienotfreddy, I enjoy almost any "making of" video I can find. I particularly like Radio Ga Ga, The Great Pretender, and One Vision. I like to see the process but also the fun they had together. One of the things I like about I'm Going Slightly Mad is the interaction between Freddie and Rudi. Freddie is obviously in very poor health in the video and his painfully thin body is difficult to see. But I'm so impressed by his strength and desire to keep working. He discusses every step with Rudi, including whether the couch is too long. That's attention to detail for sure! He's clearly bothered by the poop and he tries to move Rudi's feet away from the spot while the tech is cleaning it, and then worries about crawling down the carpet. It's the inside glimpses of the man that touch me. That's why I'm so happy to learn anything that Thor and Lee care to share. We all know the powerful force Freddie was on stage, it's who he was behind the scenes that intrigues me.

Well...good riddance!!!!!!!
Hi all.
Nice to see the many salutations.
As I have said before Happy “Everything” to everyone.
Thor and I have been picking over the manuscript, “enhancing” (is the word I’m using) details.
It’s great to be thinking about those times yet again.

Hi Folks

Thrilled the Troll has been given the Spanish Archer! Some people can't wait to try to spoil other people innocent good fun!

I am in total agreement re Freddie in the Radio Ga Ga video. Scrumptious! Has any man ever in the history of the world suited a moustache better than our Freddie?! They all looked like they were having such fun.

BTW have we all read the latest IQFC magazine and read how Freddie got hold of that policeman's helmet he wore when singing (you're so square) baby I don't care At the Wembley 86 concert ? And about Freddie's early days in England after arriving from Zanzibar? Didn't know that it was Jer's sister they had initially stayed with! Even gives all the dates if their early addresses on Freddie's citizenship application form. Imagine if you lived in one of the previous two houses prior to their move to Gladstone Avenue and discovering you live in a house where Freddie Mercury used to live!

Good Luck to Rami tonight!

Also good luck to Thor and Lee in finding a publisher this year!

Happy New Year to you all.

Kindest Regards

FreddieDarling ( the lurker)

I hope the worldwide collective cheers and utter excitement and delight about the movie win reach into the heavens!

The final words in Rami’s speech said it all "I love you, you beautiful man. This is for and because of you, gorgeous!”

A BIG congratulations to Rami Malek and under everybody concerned with making the film! Mazeltov !!!! ??

Thought Rami's acceptance speech was very nicely put, especially the closing valediction honouring Freddie.

He seems like a thoroughly likeable, modest, charming man, just like somebody else we all know and love.

Well done to you all!

Fingers crossed for The Oscar's! And the Bafta's

I'm happy they won, but disgusted when a commercial was played for Loreal lipstick with "Don't Stop Me Now" playing in the background. It felt really gross.

CONGRATULATIONS to Brian, Roger, Rami and all who worked on "Bohemian Rhapsody" . I had issues at the way Freddie's wonderful nature and true, fun-loving personality were downplayed. I certainly see, however, why the movie is such a success around the world... it is all because of Freddie and the way Rami Malek embodied his unique mannerisms and musical genius.

Freddie, you've done it again! We all love you, dear friend.

P.S. I Googled box office movie earnings and it says that "Bohemian Rhapsody" is currently in 7th place for all time revenue from a movie. Does anyone know if this is true?

Hi Thor,

I don't think it is the 7th highest grossing movie of all time....but it is the certainly the Number 1 music-biopic film of all time!

Thor, I believe it’s the 13th highest of 2018 in US. I did see an article that it’s the highest ranked LGBT movie of all time, doubling the amount earned by the Birdcage. Either way, though we didn’t get what we wanted out of Freddie, it was still a good flick!
