Freddie isn't immune to criticism, I know that - but FFS, take this for what it is: a bit of fun at a Christmas show. A brand new recording sees the light of day after 40 years and we have a track we've never heard Freddie sing before. A truly momentous occasion. And you pan it.... Merry Christmas ya arse :p Yeah. Got that sort of reaction from friends as well when i played their jam on "the immigrant song". ...it's clear they were just playing it for kicks

I actually just listened to some of this on my Headphones. Not the best quality recording, but in my humble opinion what a performance, surely one of the best “It’s Late” is almost like the studio version, with even more energy. It would be fantastic if one of the wonderful, super clever people in this forum could clean up this recording in some way. I would love to see a review from someone like Bob. Thanks again for getting this out there, rarely get excited at my age, but this is amazing.

Exactly! A clean-up could help this recording greatly and even make the overall listening experience better

White Man is a superb performance. One of the best overall versions on the tour!

Luca, I'm sorry if I misunderstood your point - but it didn't read like you were talking about QPL or May the perfectionist's standards, it reads like you're just slating the performance lol.

It sounds like they threw it together last minute (Mercury even says they "cooked it up in the dressing room"), and Brian started in the wrong key. But they still do a decent enough job of it. Even with this little folly it's still one of the greatest Queen shows ever. They just give a little extra on this night. Bob already helpfully chimed in already. Based on his comment, and the comments by others regarding the excellence of the entire concert performance, it appears to be a "must" download for most QZ-ers (despite imperfect sound quality (B+?).

thank you very much for this unexpected kind of gift. take it or leave it... it's not too often that some "new" songs of a very certain band face the light of day. and for a myth to be revealed... exactly the point in time where everybody shall be thankful of THAT. no matter the performance !

This is one of Queen's finest and most thrilling shows EVER! We should really find a way to convince the band/QPL to release the COMPLETE mono soundboard they OBVIOUSLY have for this concert. It'll probably sound the same as Sleeping on the sidewalk from the recent release (which is absolutely wonderful!). How can we make this happen, folks? Let's start a campaign and get noticed on the social media (by posting a YouTube video of this White Christmas all over twitter and facebook??). Maybe Chief Mouse should do his magic and create a video for it at his usual high level... If we're clever the global press can be reached. I really believe this is possible. What do you all think? Cutie. So wonderfully naive. Go ahead. Call me a negative bastard :) x With that kind of attitude I'm sure you never get anything done. Think small act small How's the campaign doing? Reached global press already?

Has anyone noticed the second Christmas tune Brian plays in his solo spot? It's about a minute before the tape cuts out.
