They are always professionally filmed. I think Brian thinks it as a keepsake on film sort of thing.

They always take a live feed from the video cameras and record from that. This is very different to filming the gig with a film crew.

Yes both o2 shows were filmed, also the load in and out and as you already know back stage footage was also shot. Wembley was also recorded but not filmed.

Brian actually posted on his site that they had filmed the shows but didn't confirm a DVD but mentioned a documentary.

Does this guarantee a live DVD. Who knows. They also filmed Australian dates on the previous tour which Roger said would be released but nothing has come out of that.

Ah, ok, I learned a few things from your post.
I never thought about a Q+AL documentary...hmm.

There seems to be a lot of people who think they were being filmed for a DVD, I think at the 02 there were signs up about the filming that aren't usually and at one of those shows Brian got the audience to do the slow stomp stomp clap for WWRY, said it was for the movie so I'm guessing they needed some extra sound for that part as well. Someone mentioned them filming the Marlay Park one for a DVD as well, don't know if they're just speculating but they were filming backstage stuff as well. I personally hope they do one, it they aren't gonna record new music together I think they should do a live DVD at least after this long touring together.

I'd rather see a DVD of a live show/s than an album of Q+AL recoding together.

I would like to see both things happen! It doesn't need to be a whole album, just a couple of new songs and maybe WWTLF as most people think that is the best song that Adam sings out of the catalog. I would love that song!!

You need ear plugs as almost everyone agrees it is stupendous, probably his best song out of the catalog.

It seems like he tries way too hard with it. It's one of the songs I've never warmed up to AL singing.

So, usually he sings with no emotion, but this one is filled with emotion, but he tries too hard? Not even sure what that means. He sings pretty effortlessly compared to others, and that seems to be why some come up with no emotion, because he isnt't straining and cracking his voice like a lot of singers. So how is he trying too hard? I am quite curious what you see that leads to that conclusion.

WWTLF is Adam’s song! Absolutely gorgeous! When he hits that super high note, it is glorious! I don’t think there is anyone else who can do that—that I know of.

WWTLF is Adam's song?! Since when? He never wrote or sang it back in the day. Do tell how you figure its AL's song? Of course you do it to big up the guy. Gee, your sense of entitlement is awful.

Don't do it on my account and don't spam QZ.
You even used the version where AL dedicated WWTLF to the victims as a way to bait me. Shame on you. Goes to show you will stop at nothing to spam and bait.
Don't ever do a "for me" again as a way to bait and spam. For you though...try listening to the original. It's beautiful and I personally like how Freddie sang it in studio and live. Pure emotion.

You haven't answered my question as to how Adam is trying too hard in WWTLF. I don't even know what that means and I would love an explanation.

You don't know what trying to hard means? And you said you used to teach?
Good grief!
As for AL singing WWTLF, yes I do think it looks like he is trying to hard. Maybe some people here think he's full of emotion when he sings it, but not me, in the first video and many others I've seen him do because it often looks and sounds like he is in a bad musical.
I did not watch the one where he dedicated it to the victims of the shooting. But I've seen it before. Maybe something like ITTWC would have been a better song to dedicate...I don't know.

Of course I know what it means normally, but I just have never heard it applied to singing. Maybe if you couldn't sing and were trying really hard, but that is not the case with Adam. Don't get it. But I guess you have to find something to criticize, so that makes sense to me.

Thought you were going to ignore my posts from now on? Didn't last half a day.
Yes, some people who song can sound as if they are trying too hard.
Madonna's Express Yourself is another pop song I feel the same way about.
Of course, you don't get it.
