That’s a recording of the private concert last week in Italy. A very rich person had booked QAL for his birthday party.

It was JoJo Siwa. She is a big Queen fan and bases her costumes on Freddie and also uses half a microphone stand. She wanted to meet Brian and Roger.

The wife is a big Adam's fan. He performed at her birthday parties several times before. The last time it was winter 2019, I think. So, for the husband's birthday party but later in the year they hired Adam with Queen. Just bizarre....

They are mega rich and donate huge amounts of money to charity every year and Kym is big on animal charities and they have charity foundations they set up. Kym is an animal lover and donates to animal charities which probably explains why Brian agreed to the gig and they also had a collection among their friends at the party for Brian's Save Me Charity as well.

It’s the first time I heard about them doing this. I don’t expect more of these gigs. Must have been a very special thing.

What's the problem, it's a pro band being asked to play a small gig at a party.

It looked like fun, the crowd were into it. And Rob Sinclair came up with a homage to their 1976/77 lighting rig which looked cool too.

Freddie was disgusted by the the thought of playing for private corporate events like that. He didn’t enjoy attending ones for like corporate staff on labels, and he wasn’t even performing at them, and would try to avoid them. Peter Freestone wrote about this and had said Freddie wouldn’t have enjoyed feeling like a puppet at a private event.
